Effects of Faculty-students Interaction and Self-reflection on Resilience of Nursing Students

초록

Purpose: This descriptive investigative study aimed to identify the effects of faculty-student interaction and self-reflection on the resilience of nursing students. Methods: The participants were 175 university nursing students in cities C and D. Data from July 1-31, 2024 were collected and analyzed using descriptive statistics, independent t-test, one-way analysis of variance, Pearson's correlation, and hierarchical multiple regression using SPSS 24.0. Results: Faculty-student interaction, self-reflection, and resilience had significant positive correlations. The regression model that included motivation to pursue nursing, major satisfaction, personality, and self-reflection explained approximately 41.6% of resilience of nursing students. Motivation to pursue nursing, major satisfaction, personality, and self-reflection were important predictors of the resilience of nursing students. Conclusion: To improve the resilience of nursing students, strategies are needed to increase their adaptability and satisfaction with their majors and improve self-reflection.
