Purpose: This descriptive study aimed to understand the effects of patient safety perception, quality of nursing, and partnerships as perceived by parents of hospitalized children on hospital reuse intention. Methods: The participants were 112 parents of children admitted to four children's hospitals. Data were collected using self-report questionnaires between July 22 and August 31, 2022, and analyzed using descriptive statistics, independent t-tests, one-way ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficients, and multiple regression analysis. Results: According to the general characteristics of parents of hospitalized children, hospital re-use intention showed a statistically significant difference based on the hospitalization rate. However, no statistical significance was found in post-hoc analysis. Hospital re-use intention among parents of hospitalized children showed a significant correlation with patient safety perception, quality of nursing, and partnerships. Partnership and patient safety perceptions influenced hospital re-use intention, explaining 55.3% of the variance in hospital reuse intention. Conclusion: Hospital reuse intention may be increased by assessing deficiencies in pediatric nursing safety management, preparing a plan to improve it, and developing strategies to foster a sustained and positive partnership with parents of hospitalized children.
